Pray for Michael

“Pray for Michael. He had a 4-wheeler accident and was airlifted to the University of Missouri Trauma Center. Details to follow”, flashed the text to my phone. Both Kevin McAnulty and I were on the text. Thursday afternoon, I sat and prayed at my desk and hit WhatsApp on my phone to engage the prayer team.

The angel told Daniel 9:23, “As soon as you began to pray, a word went out…”. As you read John 17, Jesus, our example, was praying. It was like he was telling Father God what he already knew. God knew Mike was in an accident. He knew it, but we prayed for a speedy recovery.

The phone lit up about 3 hours later. “Mom, fell Hank. She was grabbing the stairs handrail and missed. She fell and hit her head.”  The Facetime flashed, and Mom was sitting on the concrete driveway holding a white rag against her head. A pool of blood was on the concrete behind her.

As I rushed home, Millie helped get the bleeding to stop. Nine staples and 2 hours later, we were leaving the emergency room. After washing Mom’s hair, I sat down for an update on Mike’s accident. Richard’s dad sent us a picture of around 20 stitches on the side of Mike’s head.

Then Kevin sent a text. Jerry, his brother, had his son’s dog on a leash wrapped around his arm. A firecracker startled the dog and pulled him down. Face first into the walkway. The injury was to the head again.

Three people in my circle of influence had head injuries within the same period. It was uncanny as I realized it. How can it be that three head injuries within a short time? It reminded me of the first time I ministered in an inner healing session.

Preparing my yard for mowing, I wrapped the water hose around the grill to lift it enough to mow. My mind was whirling with the scenes of God’s key steps leading the individual to freedom. Watching Holy Spirit lead people to the most sensitive issues and pour truth and peace was mind-boggling. I felt light, peaceful, and joyful.

My mower started, and I made the first couple of rounds. I slowed to make sure I got as close as I could to the house to avoid extra weed eating. As I turned the corner near my large black grill, the bar on the back of the snapper mower caught the hose. As I gunned it to return to average speed, the bar pulled on the grill, tipping it over. The hose tightened, and the force of the grill pulled the spigot out of the house. Water began to flood the yard and pour on the mower’s motor. I quickly removed the hose, moved the mower, turned off the water, and repaired the faucet outside the house.

I made no connection between the ministry and the accident. It was just a coincidence it happened on the same day. I called my parents, who were in Springfield, Missouri, visiting my aunt.

“How are you, Dad?”

“Well, we have quite an ordeal today. I was on a ladder cutting a limb down for your Aunt Cora, and the limb hit the ladder and knocked it from under me.”

My thoughts went back to the same kind of accident just a few years prior, and he had been airlifted to the hospital with a broken pelvis.

“Dad, didn’t you learn your lesson last time?”

“No, I guess not. But that’s not all. I looked down and didn’t want to hit your aunt or the concrete, so I pushed the ladder to land in the yard. When I did, it hit your aunt. It knocked her out cold.”

“Oh, my goodness!”  Is she alright?”

“She woke up and had a knot on her head. We have some ice on it.”

“Where’s mom?”

“Well, she was mowing the yard and had it all done, but there was one little strip next to the ditch. She came over and took care of us. After she had doctored us, she went outside to clean up and saw that little strip that needed mowing. She turned on the mower and mowed it.   She slipped and fell into the ditch. She hit her head on the culvert, and blood went everywhere. The neighbor saw her fall and came over. Hank, she had blood everywhere.”

“Well, Dad, I guess I called to tell you why this happened.”

Before every session of inner healing, I bound the enemy from any attacks on my family, friends, and circle of influence.   It was clear that these things happen, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

You see, Mike had called me just a week before about what was going on in his life. He spoke at a session before a leadership to be considered a team member for their ministry. Their mission was to help young people, and their goal was to utilize hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities to bring the message of Christ.

We have to be alert. When Mike called, I realized that the conversation should have never ended without my prayer of protection. There is a connection in the body of Christ. Our relationships are synced with the plan of God. We have a part in each other’s spirituality.

Be alert. Pray for one another. We are Sync’d as a body of Christ.

Eph 4:16 AMP From Him the whole body, the church, in all its various parts, joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up in unselfish love.

1Peter 5:8 NIV Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Welcome to Sync!

This Blog is dedicated to encouraging the reader to walk in the divine appointments that are available to every believer.

Sync, short for Synchronization, is to be happening at the same time. An encounter with the God of the universe sets in place a connection with Jesus. This connection leads us to know how to be in step with our Father God’s purpose and will for our lives. Not stepping ahead and not falling behind we walk with him every day. He partners with our dreams and visions to bring the kingdom of God to our circle of influence.

Every day I see the hand of God in my life. For him to set up such meetings, circumstances, and situations is astronomically impossible. It’s who He is. It’s His pattern. Look at Galatians 4:4, It was when the time was right God gave his Son. I read someone’s calc that said the odds of eight Old Testament prophesies, of Jesus’ ministry on earth, being fulfilled was 1 in 88 billion. Over 300 prophesies came to pass.

I hope you subscribe and comment on how God works in your life. Come with me on this journey. Enjoy watching God’s hand take ours and lead us in sync with his supernatural ways.
